The Product Performance Management Specialist is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

  • The Product Performance Management Specialist partners across product disciplines, assists in the ownership of the product(s) and monitoring drivers for performance
  • Works on the ongoing performance and maintenance of a product or set of products, including client experience, pricing, risk and distribution
  • Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the product performance team
  • Integrates subject matter and industry knowledge within a defined area and requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business
  • Evaluates variable and, at times, complex issues with major impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations
  • Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources
  • Implements performance improvement strategies, with a specific focus on cross-sell and integration, including the development of competitive analyses, market analyses, product development road maps, market plans, pricing strategies and product line extensions
  • Assists sales and relationship managers in building skills needed to identify client needs, and proposes solutions in line with business objectives
  • Manages ongoing performance and maintenance of a product or set of products, including client experience, pricing, risk and distribution
  • Partners closely with sales teams to identify client opportunities and with the client management organization to meet with prospective clients and to size new opportunities
  • Build consensus and awareness of value proposition throughout the organization and key partners
  • Prepares materials for the Product Approval Program and related processes, ensures products are delivered and adhere to all parameters globally
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, legal, implementations, and sales to deliver solutions for Citi clients
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Product Management and/or Product Development discipline
  • Experience in and understanding of logistics or Industrial verticals experience with e-commerce solutions preferred
  • Complex judgments and solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives
  • In-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions
  • Ability to apply ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situations
  • Developed diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers
  • Experience with and confidence in delivering presentations to clients and senior managers


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

RESPONSABILIDADES

1.    Administrar a un equipo de gerentes de Productos (Incremento de línea, Transferencia de deuda, Disponible Banamex) para lograr objetivos definidos y cumplir con obligaciones de personal para el equipo (p. ej., evaluaciones de desempeño, contratación, medidas disciplinarias).
2.    Supervisar el plan estratégico, el desarrollo, el lanzamiento y la comercialización de un programa para obtener el máximo beneficio de cada producto.
3.    Supervisar la administración diaria de productos principales, como la entrega de productos, la experiencia de los clientes y las estrategias de comunicación con los clientes; ayudar al equipo a priorizar, negociar y eliminar obstáculos para lograr resultados comerciales.
4.    Aplicar las propuestas de valor para los clientes, las estrategias de posicionamiento, segmentación, fijación de precios, objetivos y canales, y la diferenciación competitiva para alcanzar el estado preferido como socio de los clientes de Banamex.
5.    Elaborar planes, elaboración de presentaciones para ejecutar estrategias y realizar aportes para las decisiones estratégicas que mejoren la colocación de productos
6.    Gestionar la investigación de mercado de competidores y clientes, elaborar un plan de innovación de productos y abordar las pruebas fundamentales de mercantilización de productos para crear una serie avanzada de soluciones.
7.    Supervisar todos los aspectos de la administración del ciclo de vida de un programa, incluidas las demandas del mercado, las tendencias tecnológicas y el campo competitivo.
8.    Elaborar y comunicar un plan comercial para abordar el mercado, y coordinar e implementar procedimientos de los equipos, resoluciones de problemas de los clientes y gestión de clientes.
9.    Ayudar a impulsar la innovación al trabajar con alianzas de otras áreas para desarrollar productos.
10.    Evaluar adecuadamente el riesgo cuando se toman decisiones comerciales, consideración a sus clientes y activos, al impulsar el cumplimiento de las regulaciones correspondientes, acatando la política, aplicando un juicio ético sólido en relación con el comportamiento personal, la conducta y las prácticas comerciales y escalando, administrando e informando los problemas de control con transparencia, así como supervisar de manera efectiva la actividad de otros y crear responsabilidad con aquellas personas que no mantienen estos estándares.
11.    Generar campañas de X-sell, para programas de crédito que potencialice la originación de aperturas,

REQUERIMIENTOS

  • Conocimiento amplio de Tarjetas de Crédito y sus productos asociados (3 a 5 años)
  • Experiencia en creación y lanzamiento de campañas (3 a 5 años)
  • Iniciativa para la implementación y cambios a los productos o mejora a los procesos.
  • Habilidades de implementación de diversas estrategias comerciales, asegurando la ejecución a través de las diferentes áreas de la organización.
  • Habilidades de negociación
  • Desarrollo de presentaciones de alto impacto.
  • Conocimiento para ejecución de estrategias con el área de franquicia comercial
  • Toma decisiones en base los resultados de los principales indicadores de gestión de portafolios, aun en ambientes ambiguos o con información incompleta.
  • Manejo de equipos de alto desempeño (DESEABLE)
