The IT Bus Unit Sr Group Manager manages multiple teams through other managers. In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors' products and services, is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary. Responsible for executing functional strategy in area managed. Determines approach to implementing functional strategy. Accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of the area(s). Impact reflects size of team managed, strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses.Full management responsibility for multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. May be doing involved or responsible for diverse (cross-discipline) activities. Typically, a direct report to a C16 role and function as an intergral member of the functional leadership team within a country/site location, job family, or line of business.

Responsibilities:
  • Functions in a Chief Of Staff capacity to ensure strategy is implemented appropriately.
  • Ensures the IT organization is defining and implementing its business plan and goals to support the strategy and goals of the organization.
  • Collaborates with IT functional/departmental executives and business leaders to create the business plan for IT.
  • Scans the external IT environment to provide a common set of planning assumptions.
  • Collaborates with Finance and Human Resources to represent the needs of IT and understand the cost and human resources impact of those needs in creating, implementing and adjusting IT business plans.
  • Responsible for internal communications, right placement/managed services and technical training. Ensures business unit is meeting or exceeding components of service level agreements.
  • Resolves a variety of broad based and complex issues. Uses sound understanding of theories and practices in multiple related subject areas.
  • Applies in depth knowledge of how technology integrates within the organization and of direct competitors products and services.
  • Has full management responsibilities for team (includes people, budget and planning). Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations; uses multiple sources of information.
  • Impacts the area through responsibility for planning, finances/budget, end results, setting policies and contribution to strategic decisions. Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in technology planning with extensive experience in business, functional and people management.
  • Budget management, Risk & Control management, influencing skills
  • Managerial experience
Education:
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Buscamos un Director Senior de Tecnologíacon experiencia en banca de consumo para liderar el ecosistema tecnológico que da soporte a las capas front, venta y postventa (servicing) de nuestros productos de retail. Esta posición es clave en la evolución de la arquitectura digital  del banco hacia entornos cloud-native que habiliten experiencias superiores y mas personalizadas para nuestros clientes y mejoren nuestro time to market, asegurando la continuidad, escalabilidad, y personalización de las experiencias del cliente.

Responsabilidades clave:
· Liderar la estrategia tecnológica para los canales digitales y presenciales del negocio de retail (banca móvil, web, sucursales).

· Supervisar el diseño, desarrollo y operación de soluciones tecnológicas orientadas a ventas y atención postventa de productos como cuentas, créditos, tarjetas, así como las ventas de seguro a través de los canales de Banco.

· Supervisar el diseño, desarrollo y operación de soluciones tecnológicas orientadas a Banca Patrimonial

· Asegurar que las plataformas digitales estén alineadas con las mejores prácticas de experiencia de usuario (UX), ciberseguridad y cumplimiento normativo.

· Impulsar la adopción de tecnologías de nube para modernizar plataformas legacy y mejorar el time-to-market de nuevas funcionalidades.

· Colaborar estrechamente con las áreas de producto, operaciones, experiencia de cliente, canales y riesgo para traducir necesidades de negocio en soluciones tecnológicas efectivas.

· Liderar equipos de desarrollo, solutioning, soporte y DevOps bajo metodologías ágiles.

· Asegurar la resiliencia operativa, alta disponibilidad y rendimiento de los canales de atención, venta y postventa.

· Promover la innovación mediante el uso de APIs, microservicios, inteligencia artificial y automatización.

· Gestionar proveedores tecnológicos estratégicos y contratos de servicios en México.

· Fomentar un modelo operativo ágil (Scrum, DevOps), con foco en entregas de valor continuo.

· Participar en comités ejecutivos, de arquitectura y priorización tecnológica.


Indicadores clave de desempeño (KPIs):
· Disponibilidad de plataformas front y servicing: SLA de 99.9% o superior

· Velocidad de despliegue: Tiempo promedio de liberación de nuevas funcionalidades (CI/CD).

· Conversión digital: % de productos retail vendidos en canales digitales.

· Tiempo de atención: Reducción de Tiempos Promedio de Atención (TPA) en canales de servicing.

· Satisfacción del cliente: NPS de cliente e interno asociados a la experiencia digital.

· Incidentes críticos: Reducción de incidentes de impacto major e incidentes estandar.

· Costo operativo: Eficiencia de la operación y costo de entrega a través de optimization, automatización y migración cloud.


Requisitos:
· Licenciatura ó experiencia equivalente.

· Mínimo 10 años de experiencia en tecnología, con al menos 5 liderando iniciativas en banca digital, canales o arquitectura de soluciones.

· Experiencia comprobable en plataformas de venta y atención para banca de consumo.

· Conocimiento técnico sólido en arquitecturas cloud (Azure, AWS o GCP), APIs, microservicios, y marcos ágiles (Scrum, SAFe).

· Habilidad de negociación con áreas de negocio, visión estratégica y liderazgo de equipos multidisciplinarios.

· Familiaridad con herramientas de monitoreo, automatización y experiencia de usuario.

· Capacidad para liderar iniciativas de transformación en entornos regulados (CNBV, Banxico, ISO 27001).

· Inglés avanzado
