The Investment Sales Officer is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the correct implementation and monitoring of the institutional investment strategy, standardizing the performance in all the offices of the Division
  • Manages the most appropriate mix of investment assets, customer view and business view; monitoring of investment portfolios
  • Promotes risk prevention / control environment
  • Provides training for bankers / holders
  • Supports in the development and management of business plans in coordination with the business management
  • Monitors and supports in meeting the revenue goal of the Division
  • Proposes investment ideas according to market conditions and institutional vision
  • Takes care of the correct alignment of the profile of each client and their investments
  • Maintains a total attachment to "Sales Practices" and "RDIP"
  • Coordinates public and private placements
  • Presents to clients
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of work experience in investment related areas


Education:

  • Bachelors degree

Objetivo Principal de la Posición

Transmitir la estrategia institucional a banqueros, titulares y clientes así como apoyar en la asesoría de inversiones y en la gestión del negocio (proyecciones, presupuestos, etc.). Establecer canales efectivos de comunicación y de capacitación para banqueros y titulares.

Experiencia y conocimiento laboral

  • Experiencia (deseable) y conocimiento de Productos de Inversión (Sociedades de Inversión, Plan Patrimonial Banamex, Productos Estructurados, etc)
  • Experiencia (deseable) en atención y servicio al cliente

Nivel de estudios:

  • Licenciatura / Ingeniería con Especialidad Económica / Financiera (Titulado)

Funciones principales:

  • Coordinar al Equipo de Inversiones de la División Metropolitana
  • Transmitir la estrategia de inversión institucional a Banqueros y Clientes
  • Asesoría en Inversiones a Banqueros y Clientes
  • Apoyo en la Gestión de negocio (proyecciones de ingresos, avance en colocación de producto, concentraciones en carteras, etc)
  • Realizar capacitaciones en temas de inversión y de producto para banqueros y titulares
  • Participación en pláticas de mercado y de producto para clientes
  • Coordinar colocaciones públicas
  • Manejo de bases de datos para gestionar carteras, identificando oportunidades de rebalanceo y potenciales riesgos de concentración en las carteras de los clientes

  • Manejo de idioma Ingles en nivel avanzado (conversación y lectura)
  • Certificación AMIB figura 3 deseable
