The Compensation Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
Responsibilities:
- Provides HR guidance, advice, knowledge and expertise to HR Advisors and business managers on compensation, HRMS, reward and recognition related issues.
- Assists in managing annual compensation planning process for a business unit(s) including: salary increases, bonuses, stock awards and other compensation related expenses, will collaborate with other disciplines such as tax, legal, finance, and technology, and impacts compensation end results through project management and client relationships.
- Participates in coordination of annual compensation process for salary review, bonuses, and stock awards
- Conducts benchmarking, market, and internal compensation analysis.
- Performs targeted bonus and stock analysis
- Serves as a reference for salary recommendations
- Supports job evaluation process and ensure appropriate controls in place
- Manages or contributes toward compensation related projects as assigned
- Additional duties as assigned
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years relevant experience working with large data sets, experience in Financial Services
- Demonstrated mathematical aptitude
- Prefer prior project management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
El puesto está enfocado en el seguimiento, apoyo, atención y cálculo de performance e incentivo mensual, trimestral y Anual para los negocios de Socios Comerciales, Nominas VIP y O&T (Cobranza/Contact Center) por lo que es un plus tener experiencia en alguno de los negocios antes mencionados.
Responsabilidades
Validación de insumos e identificación de triggers para cálculo de incentivos
Cálculo de performance/incentivo mediante herramientas de uso de código SQL/VBA en aplicaciones de Access y Excel.
Contacto con la operación de los diversos negocios para seguimiento, aclaraciones y resolución de dudas.
Análisis de KPI's para interpretación y presentación de resultados.
Excelente organización y comunicación con los diferentes stakeholders.
Generación reportes MIS y reportes de performance individual para los diferentes puestos en los negocios.
