Ops Sup Intermed Analyst - C11 - TAGUIG
The Ops Sup Intermed Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Intermed Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial, statistical, and operational studies using analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies
- Interpret data and results based on the analysis of information and application of professional judgement
- Apply project management to assist operational projects as assigned
- Perform feasibility analysis for significant process changes and partner with business teams to develop process improvements and solutions that help to streamline the operational workflow
- Resolve varied and complex issues using professional judgment, discretion, and business expertise
- Provide informal guidance and training to new and lower level team members, as needed
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 4 years or more relevant experience in the industry of Data Analysis and/ or Production Support
- Rich experience in Incident and Problem Management (Ticketing System)
- Experience in issue management while working with virtual teams
- Experience in coordinating issues until closure
- Experience in driving for the Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Experience in working on a fast-paced & dynamic environment; adapting to ever-changing business needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and analytical; Strong critical thinking skills
- Effective time management, documentation, and organizational skills; Ability to multi-task & appropriately prioritize tasks
- Ability to communicate, educate, and support a large user base
- Logical minded person who can understand complex issues & think about them with precision
- Strong experience in user of Microsoft Office suite of products – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education:

Senior Analyst
Responsibilities
- Carefully review, analyze, and compare data quality issues (breaks) where IOIs (Items of Interest) does not match from two sources.
- Ensure that all reconciliation breaks for the working day are completely investigated and worked on.
- Upload all recon break files to the application daily.
- Document existing issues on how to detect data quality issues (breaks), document Transaction Codes within internal tools.
- Ensure that all Issue IDs on assigned region (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, or NAM) are investigated without breaching the 21-day aging.
- Collaborate with support groups in reaching required Monitoring Impact Assessment (MIA).
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) while working with virtual teams across Citi globally; driving calls with virtual teams on issue resolution.
- Review problem tickets for possible resolution and closure.
- The analyst would find itself using UNIX, Tableau and MS Excel hence comfortability in navigating through a UNIX OS and strong familiarity with Tableau and MS Excel pivots and formula manipulation is a strong advantage.
