Vice President, Workforce Management Organization Design and Governance Lead

We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Workforce Management Organization Design and Governance Senior Analyst- Hybrid based in Chennai, India.
Enterprise Workforce Management is a new capability that is being built at Citi that provides Citi leaders and managers with frameworks, standards, procedures, and tools to ensure adequate Organizational Health and Resource Management across the bank. The Workforce Management Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends and applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge within own job and the business. This role is responsible for supporting the management and implementation of Citi’s efforts around staffing, skill adequacy and organization design. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. This role is accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business and necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required as well as ability to handle ambiguity and navigate a fast paced environment.
In this role, you’re expected to:
Have a firm understanding of the business and HR needs and priorities to inform the execution of workforce management/human capital strategy globally
Support execution of end-to-end resource management including connectivity across Enterprise Workforce Management (Org Desing, Position Management, Skills, DRMR and Partner Engagement), partnering to leverage data and insights in the overall resource management process
Contribute to reporting and insights around status, gaps, remediation actions progress to management committees, board and regulators
Drive controls and processes that ensure end to end of Structure Framework organization and where applicable to rest of the EWM organization, facilitate connectivity and execution of controls, with checkpoints throughout the process to mitigate risks and inaccuracies and their potential downstream impacts.
Partner with Businesses and Functions, Finance, People Analytics and Insights and Enterprise Workforce Management teams to execute processes and controls
Identify continuous improvement opportunities across the Structure Framework organization’s processes.
Leads projects and generate new ideas and conceptual frameworks to help solve problems, provide hands-on delivery and create insightful findings and recommendations.
Leads consult on thought leadership for workforce planning, skills, and organizational development
Sparks ongoing communication across the global business to engage all global employees in initiatives, processes and updates
Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
10 - 15 years of relevant experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Ability to drill-down, discern and analyze data to provide insights for the business
Self-motivated, result-oriented and has an eye for detail.
Being able to demonstrate influence without authority in being able to achieve the outcome.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Knowledge on Tableau and advanced Excel skills is an added advantage.
Bachelor’s/University degree,
Preferred: Master’s degree preferred and managerial experience
