Mainframe Developer

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on coding, design , testing support and deployment of Mainframe codes based on user requirements
• Recommend system improvements that will add value to business users and improve system stability
• Support issues that arise in Production and join business calls as necessary
• Providing regular status updates to the manager and work with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
• Mainframe experience in  CICS, MVS Assembler, REXX 
  Proficient in Cobol, JCL, Db2, Changeman, , IBM developer(IDZ), Tivoli workload scheduler (TWS), Zconnect
  Experience in CI/CD for mainframe and Github facilitated software delivery.
  Understanding in webservices (SOAP/REST) and data structures such as XML, JSON

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
