We are seeking a skilled Sales Business Analyst with extensive experience in enterprise data analysis within the retail banking sector. This role will focus on sales performance measurement, helping to shape and refine new strategies for evaluating the effectiveness of Retail Bank. The ideal candidate will be adept in SQL, Python, and big data technologies, with strong capabilities in creating compelling data visualizations for both executive-level insights and operational dashboards.

This role provides the opportunity to be part of an innovative team developing and implementing sales performance strategies by leveraging the latest analytics technology in a highly agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of data measurement strategies for Retail Banking products and services.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to optimize sales performance.
  • Utilize SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Work with Hadoop-based technologies (Hive, Spark, similar) to process and analyze large-scale enterprise data.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to support executives, managers, and frontline employees.
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders across Retail Banking and Product Management to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
  • Design and implement methodologies for tracking customer engagement, sales performance, and product adoption.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to guide sales and productivity strategy.
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance with company regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or related fields within Retail Banking.
  • Strong knowledge of Retail Banking financial products (e.g., deposits, credit, loans, wealth management) and their sales dynamics.
  • Expertise in SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Hadoop and related big data technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, or similar visualization tools to create compelling reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT, Data Science, and Business Operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to executive leadership as well as frontline managers.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and predictive modeling.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and statistical analysis for performance measurement.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$117,440.00 - $176,160.00
