Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Charlotte, NC location.

Duties: Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Lead applications systems analysis, programming activities, and the end-to-end implementation on Big Data or non-Big Data environments for the Retail Risk business. Closely interact with the Retail Risk business, other application developers, and enterprise-wide technology stakeholders responsible for related processes. Partner with multiple teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across system and modules. Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Resolving high-impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards including Cloud-based solutions; Programming applications using JAVA/ J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Microservices, REST, JSON, and RDBMS (Relation Database Management System), and ensuring the application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint; Developing standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation using software compliance standards with tools including JUNIT and Checkmarx, along with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) tools including Jenkins, Bitbucket, and deployment platforms including Open Shift; Performing analytics and solving high-volume data processing problems using Big Data Technologies including Apache Spark, Hive, Hadoop, and AWS; and Coordinating Waterfall and Agile Development Life Cycle. 40 hrs./wk.
