Team/Role Overview
The Financial Reporting Manager is a position responsible for providing regulatory analysis and reporting inline with regulatory, controlling and management expectations. In this team you participate in accounting activities such as the closing, adjustment entries and cross checking with AnaCredit reporting. The overall objective for the team is to ensure performing monthly and quarterly activities on time and following specified guidelines as well as contributing to the development of new techniques, models and plans within the area of expertise.
What you’ll do:
- Support the analysis and submission of reports to local statutory regulator based on IFRS accounting standard.
- Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period.
- Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events.
- Produce metrics to senior management highlighting key issues and remediation status and maintain and enhance related operational and analytical procedures.
- Take part in the development of process efficiencies and improvement efforts as well as data quality improvement projects-
- Interpret policies, guidelines, and processes and resolve complex problems and transactions.
- Act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
What we’ll need from you:
- 5+ years of finance and/or accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel.
- Financial Services Industry and Project Management experience preferred.
- Macro, Phyton, KNIME knowledge is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards.
- Ability to work with multiple functions.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
