Regulatory Reporting Governance Analyst (maternity cover)
The Regulatory Reporting Governance Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Reviews policies to understand the reports that are needed. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
Responsibilities:
- Provides regulatory reporting project management support (business requirements, analysis, and testing) for delivery of regulatory solutions
- Performs data analysis to monitor and track data quality and completeness of data
- Performs User acceptance testing on assigned risk and technology solutions. Proactively mitigates and manage testing & project issues
- Assists project manager and work with business users to gather business requirements and draft Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of Regulatory Reports
- Attention to detail and must work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement process changes, improve productivity, and optimize reporting efficiency
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirement and update process notes accordingly. Ensure proper documentation with required approvals
- Provide insights on process and recommendation for improvement/ automation
- Maintain detailed record for reports submitted and queries received from regulator
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/University degree
- Fluency in Russian and intermediate in English
- Experience and ability to partner with business & technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of project goals
- Strong ability to interpret business requirements for the purpose of liaising with technology developers
- Knowledge of banking (Payments & Receivables, International Trade, Corporate Cards, Onboarding) and Regulatory Reporting domain
- Knowledge of currency Control
- Experiences managing tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Background in Data Analytics & Visualization is preferred
