2025, Markets – Equity, Full Time Analyst, Zurich

Citi is looking for a full time analyst to join the Equity Desk in Zurich which is part of the Markets team in Switzerland.

Markets at Citi provides world-class services that are as sophisticated and diverse as the needs of the institutions, corporates and governments whom we serve in 160 countries and territories. We work on trading floors in over 80 countries, enriching client relationships around the clock. The breadth and depth of our underwriting, structuring, securitization, sales and trading and distribution capabilities span asset classes and currencies, sectors and industries. And our expertise covers a vast array of products including equities, rates, credit, commodities, futures and FX.

The Equity Program is structured to help candidates – including diverse backgrounds and non-traditional experience, pivot into a finance career with Citigroup’s  Markets business. Our local Zurich Sales team is responsible to help our clients with their investment needs by giving them access to Citi’s research, trading capabilities as well as our vast derivatives offering. This job collaborates closely with various internal and external stakeholders to support our institutional investors in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Your time here will look something like this...

• Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch books, and distribute research reports.

• Gather, analyze and coordinate client and market data.

• Support research sales teams and clients by providing Citi’s market and research analysis as well as investment ideas.

• Help derivatives sales with the marketing and issuance of structured products.

• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and news events to identify potential investment opportunities.

• Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of financial markets and investment research and derivatives.

We want to hear from you if...

• You have basic knowledge and interest in financial markets.

• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• You are in your final year of university or have graduated.

• You are fluent in English, German and / or French.

• You have strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.

• You are committed to personal growth and career development including mobility and flexibility. You also have a strong desire to learn, are proactive, building rapport and relationships in team environment.

The role starts in the Summer of 2025. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to rotate across products initially, before joining the Equities team full time. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible!
