Global Wealth Technology Annual Boook of Work Planning Lead

The primary purpose of this role is to support governance and facilitation of end to end Annual Planning Process aimed to finalize Technology Book of Work (BoW) for upcoming year. Finalizing BoW / Investments is being run as a program with the engagement of key stakeholder (Wealth Business, Technology and Finance), defined milestones within structured workstreams to be delivered within agreed timelines. As there is ongoing standardization of Annual Planning Process across Citi globally, the role will also cover engagement in global standardization programs kicked off in 2024 to ensure consistent process with clear steps, roles & responsibilities and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support running end-to end Annual Planning Process Globally in partnership with Wealth Business, Technology and Finance within agreed financial targets and timeliness – act as back-up for BOW Planning and Tools Lead owning Annual Planning program delivery.

  • Support BOW Planning and Tools Lead in finalizing governance & framework by setting up mechanism to manage Annual Planning Process, have clear oversight of process objectives, expectations, performance, risk appetite and reporting requirements.

  • Based on cooperation with Global Investment Teams define tools, timelines and process steps supporting delivery of program milestones.

  • Create and execute project plan to ensure all stakeholders are engaged at appropriate stage and complete required actions.

  • Facilitate any discussion required to finalize prioritization client allocation and investment benefit methodology for new investment.

  • Participate Global Programs aimed at standardization of Annual Planning Process globally by ensuring global solution can be implemented in Wealth Tech environment by analyzing and agreeing key principles, assumptions, rules to be followed, communicated in advance and securing receiving correct and consistent information at each step of the process.

  • Ensure financial targets are defined and communicated to all stakeholders.

  • Support meeting communication and reporting standards.

  • Develop relationships across all business and functions partners.

  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions).

  • Provide regular reports and updates to management, ensures alignment of conflicting program priorities to common goals.

  • Global timezone coverage across NAM, EMEA and APAC

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience with annual budgeting process, demand management and negotiating across multiple parties.

  • Experience in project / program delivery.

  • Experience interacting with senior management on a regular basis.

  • Track record of driving cooperation in multi-country environment.

  • Experience in financial area and Citi Project Tracking System(PTS) would be an advantage.

Qualification & Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in a technology planning or program management role.

  • Subject matter expert in one or more areas of technology planning.

  • Overseeing programs: Consistently detail-oriented, organized, goal-oriented, and able to multi-task and manage to deadlines.

  • Collaborating and influencing business stakeholders: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.

  • Communicating complex topics: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, including horizontal and vertical logic and executive presentations.

  • Adaptable: Strong work-ethic, innovative and adaptable with positive attitude and willingness / ability to pick up work quickly when and where needed.

  • Takes ownership and accountability for assigned work.

  • Being experienced in PowerPoint and Excel.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
