ESG Strategy Expert
What you will do:
Development and implementation of Citi Handlowy ESG strategy and making sure that all ESG tasks & goals (e.g. Sustainable Finance Goal) are assigned to proper business units;
Support of development of sustainable finance products (incl. Sustainable Supply Chain Finance, Green deposits);
Working closely with engaged unit leaders in the Bank to drive and monitor the execution of ESG strategy;
Monitor and develop Target Operating Model which defining ESG Roles and Responsibilities in the Bank;
Establish ESG long term targets (i.e. environmental declarations) and work with different units in the Bank to develop pathways how to achieve them;
Preparation of ESG strategy presentations and ad-hoc analysis for senior management team and management board;
Understand evolving ESG regulatory guidelines and best market practice standards which have an impact on the Polish financial sector;
Lead engagement with investors and rating agencies in the area of ESG;
Conduct ESG benchmarking across the Polish financial sector. Manage the maintenance and development of ESG sector data;
Develop and update ESG content on the Bank’s website. Be an ESG expert recognized by the different units in the Bank to reduce reputational risks of disclosing information.
What we will need from you:
University degree in Sustainability Management, Business Management or similar;
Minimum 4 years of professional working experience in the sustainability field in consulting, auditing in financial sector;
Strong understanding of sustainability issues as they impact business and the financial sector;
Excellent analytical skills, proficient in Excel and comfortable analyzing large datasets and portraying and explaining complex data trends to others;
Experience in developing sustainability strategies and knowledge of corporate sustainability reporting standards (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, GRI, SASB etc.);
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization;
Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to create work plans and meet deadlines as well evaluate complex topics;
Expertise in PowerPoint, Word and Excel;
Strong research and investigative skills, ability to evaluate and assess complex topics, creatively problem-solve;
Flexiblity and ability to work in a team;
Fluency in Polish and English.
