What you will do:

  • Support Strategy and IR department in implementation of regulatory ESG reporting requirements including the annual Sustainability Report in line with CSRD Directive, Pillar 3 ESG risks disclosures and EU Taxonomy. Preparation of ESG reports for Polish Financial Authority – KNF;

  • Support business units in the completion of ESG disclosure requirements and reporting process (i.e. alignment with ESRS requirements and Double Materiality Process);

  • Close cooperation with different Citi entities to harmonize Bank’s ESG disclosures with Citigroup reporting framework including the specification of different jurisdictions (EU & US);

  • Monitor EU/global trends and regulations/guidelines in ESG disclosures through the participation in external organizations or working groups. The implementation of ESG disclosures rules in cooperation with Legal and Compliance divisions;

  • Conduct ESG disclosure benchmarking across the Polish financial sector and cooperation with external stakeholders including investors to deliver high quality of ESG data;

  • Applying and development of control mechanisms in ESG disclosure processes as well as tracking documentation of control process;

  • Cooperation and coordination of work with external and internal auditors;

  • Delivering annual response to ESG data gathering organizations (e.g. CDP);

  • Implementation of tools to automatize gathering of ESG data across of the Banks’ different unit.

What we will need from you:

  • University degree in Sustainability Management, Finance or similar;

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in development of non-financial report under NFRD directive gathered in banks or other financial institutions. Additional experience in regulatory reporting in Finance unit is also welcome;

  • Knowledge or familiarity with regulatory ESG reporting frameworks, including the CSRD and Pillar III and voluntary global standards (e.g. GRI);

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization;

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to create work plans and meet deadlines as well evaluate complex topics;

  • Expertise in PowerPoint, Word and Excel;

  • Strong research and investigative skills, ability to evaluate and assess complex topics, creative problem-solving skills;

  • Fluency in Polish and English.
