Citi is seeking a first-year analyst candidate to join our on-the-ground Investment Banking team in Tel Aviv, Israel. The candidate will support the investment banking team on transaction execution and deal initiatives, across various sectors and products, including mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, debt financings, and other financial advisory services.

Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity to get direct coverage and execution experience working on some of the most high-profile transactions in the industry. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Carry out complex financial analysis and financial modeling

  • Assist in the preparation of company pitch books, marketing materials and client presentations

  • Assist in performing due diligence

  • Perform research and various analyses in support of new business generation  

  • Regularly interact with Citi team members across industry and product teams

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Candidates must have a strong interest in investment banking underpinned by solid quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to think creatively about a range of strategic issues confronting the firm’s clients with an exceptional grasp on valuation, finance, business strategy and accounting issues. Specific qualifications include:

  • Bachelors’ degree from a leading university; Masters’ degree a plus

  • Previous experience in investment banking, accounting or consulting firm

  • Superior analytical, quantitative and financial modelling skills

  • Ability to exercise judgment, prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments

  • Team player with high integrity and self-motivation

  • Commitment to personal growth and career development; a strong desire to learn; and success in team environments

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills both in Hebrew and English
