IT Business Lead Analyst
Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.
Duties: Perform requirement analysis and recommend alternative solutions in terms of system design. Design, implement, and deploy software applications. Interact with key Stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional requirements. Complete logical data models of the business requirements and provide complete data flow of system design using enterprise related diagrams and unified modeling languages for structure diagrams, which includes class, sequence, and activity. Participate in design and code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to predefined solutions. Identify and troubleshoot application code related issues and data quality issues. Design, develop, and execute business test case scenarios for system integration testing, UAT testing, and regression testing. Create test scenarios, review test results, and provide expertise-related data, feedback, and suggestions. Review the project and program test results with business stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, and operations users and obtain signoffs on new functionalities and changes and deploy them in production. Demonstrate test results to business stakeholders and provide consulting to business stakeholders regarding usage of functionality in production. Query data on various databases including oracle, SQL server, and Pl/SQL for backend financial data. Provide root cause analyses for issues. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation in the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Analyzing and investigating issues for capital markets including general ledger posting and reporting; Interacting with stakeholders to understand business requirements and converting them into functional requirements related to data flow for capital markets for general ledger posting; Updating functional specifications and release changes in production; Querying data on multiple databases including Oracle, SQL server, and Pl/SQL for backend financial data validation and verification; Designing, developing, and executing business and functional test case scenarios for system integration testing, UAT testing, and regression testing for capital markets; and Utilizing Quality Assurance tools including ALM, Jira, and Sharepoint for test scenario creation, functional testing, logging results, and test strategy documentation. 40 hrs./wk.
