The Digital S/W Eng Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities :

• Data Visualization and Reporting: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using both Tableau and Cognos, translating data into understandable insights. They gather requirements from stakeholders to deliver solutions that support decision-making.
• Data Modeling and ETL: Collaborate on data modeling and reporting structures, develop and maintain metadata models in Cognos Framework Manager, and assist with ETL processes and data validation.
• Design and build efficient data pipelines: This involves creating systems for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources.
• Work as an onsite-offshore co-ordination and Agile methodology of sprints & release process, handling offshore team and managing the deliverables without deviation in the timelines committed.
• Experience on SQL, Creating Views, Materialized views and stored procedures to be used for reporting to improve the dashboards performance.
• Strong knowledge on data lakes or Data warehousing Concepts – Star & Snow-flake Schema. Knowledge on AWS and Snowflake.
• Good knowledge of Application DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD Frameworks) - Experience in Jenkins or Gitlab with rich experience in source code management like Code Pipeline, Code Build and Code Commit.
• Experience in Cloud Platform preferred AWS.
• Experience in Cloud data warehouse platform preferred Snowflake.
• Experience in Distributed computing frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT with focus on Enterprise Data Solutions.

• Exhibit expertise in all aspects of technology by understanding broader patterns and techniques as they apply to Citi’s internal and external cloud platforms (AWS, PCF, Akamai)
• Lead resources and serve as a functional SME across the company through advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, networking, use of knowledge and experience to lead, architect, and drive broader adoption forward.
• Acquire relevant technology and financial industry skills (AWS PWS) and understand all aspects of NGA technology – including innovative approaches and new opportunities.
• Demonstrate knowledge on automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems, or IT related field.
