Delta One Trader, Vice President

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Delta One Trader to join our Equities trading team.  This role is tailored for an individual with ~5-10 years’ experience in Delta One trading, encompassing ETFs, swaps, futures, and other equity derivative products.

You will play a key role in driving desk profitability by pricing, executing, and managing complex trades while proactively identifying market opportunities. This role also requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to foster relationships with clients, mentor junior team members, and optimize trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Trading & Execution:

•Independently price and execute trades across Delta One products, including ETFs, swaps, and futures, ensuring optimal performance and competitive pricing.

•Develop and implement trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and enhance desk profitability.

Risk Management:

•Actively manage and monitor risk positions, ensuring adherence to internal risk limits and regulatory requirements.

•Review P&L performance, identify risks, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance risk-adjusted returns.

Client Relationship Management:

•Partner with sales teams to understand client needs and provide bespoke trading solutions.

•Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, increasing trade flow and driving business growth.

Leadership & Mentorship:

•Serve as a mentor to junior traders, providing guidance on market analysis, trading strategies, and career development.

•Foster a collaborative and high-performing desk culture.

Analytics & Innovation:

•Collaborate with quantitative and technology teams to enhance trading models, tools, and desk infrastructure.

•Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience:

•5-10 years of experience in Delta One trading or a related role, with a proven track record of profitability and risk management.

•Strong expertise in ETFs, swaps, futures, and other equity derivatives.

Education:

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

•Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Finance) or professional certifications (CFA, FRM) are a plus.

Technical Skills:

•Deep understanding of Delta One products and equity markets.

•Advanced proficiency in Excel, VBA, Python, or other programming languages for trading and risk analytics.
