We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Officer, Performance Data Analyst - Client Reporting unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of performance data within Wealth Banking operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial instruments, performance measurement methodologies and reporting systems.

The Officer, Performance Data Analyst - Client Reporting unit is responsible for reviewing performance data daily across account, asset class and security level on daily and monthly basis. The incumbent is expected to work with Operations stakeholders to understand their booking process and work with technology stakeholders to resolve system issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Performance Data Analysis & Validation:
    • Collect, analyze, and validate investment performance data across portfolios, benchmarks, and financial products.
    • Reconcile discrepancies and ensure data integrity from front- to back-office systems.
  • Client Reporting:
    • Generate, review, and deliver scheduled and ad-hoc performance reports for private wealth and institutional clients.
    • Assist in the development of customized client reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Identify and implement improvements in data handling and reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
    • Support the automation and streamlining of performance reporting tools and templates.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers, Operations, and IT to gather requirements and resolve issues.
    • Liaise with external vendors and data providers as needed.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Support:
    • Ensure reports comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
    • Maintain robust documentation and audit trails for all reporting activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in investment performance analytics, client reporting, or a related field within financial services or wealth management would be a bonus..
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Takes ownership of allocated work and is accountable
  • An analytical team player and able to independently complete tasks
