Wealth Asia Capital Markets Group is currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Investment Trading Lead, based in Singapore.
The Structured Products / Securities Analyst is a strategic professional with high energy and a keen interest in Capital Market products, who will stay abreast of market developments and is driven in contributing to the teams’ long term strategy to grow the wealth business through effective product advisory and efficient product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive product technology, platform / automation and other projects. This will include project management, user acceptance testing and technology fixes for the entire team.
- New Product and New Markets development and approvals
- Structured products / Securities advisory - Product idea generation, Investment themes, Payoff / Product recommendations, Product innovation
- Order Management / Book-Building
- Dealing and Execution of Structured Products (Cross Assets) / Securities internally and externally (interbank market)
- End-to-end Product Life Cycle management
- Recognized technical authority for an area (i.e. subject matter expert) within the business.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of working experience in financial institutions in similar role / capacity
- Expected knowledge and experience of this individual will be as follows:
- Knowledge and experience in leading technology projects and enhancements for straight through processing (STP) systems and workflows.
- Knowledge of structured products / securities processing lifecycle including order placement, bookbuilding, trade capture, dealing / execution, confirmation, settlement and life cycle management.
- Knowledge and experience / exposure to financial markets, various capital markets products (structured products and securities) and various asset classes (equities, fixed income, commodities, ETFs etc)
- Knowledge and experience in managing regulatory requirements, across local and US regulatory frameworks with specific reference to trading and distribution activities
- Ability to / experienced in working with various stakeholders across different teams / functions
- Regulator license to Deal / Advise in Securities is a plus

Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
