Business Sr. Analyst - C12 - SEOUL
Based in Korea, the AVP Business Execution role reports to Chief Executive of CGMK and matrix to Head of Business Execution Korea Franchise. The Business Execution team is responsible for supporting strategic and business-critical initiatives and programs, uplifting and streamlining governance, ensuring effective Legal Entity management and controls, supporting Transformation execution, and cultivating a robust risk and control environment among other critical activities.
- Support the Chief Executive of CGMK and Head of Business Execution on promoting a culture of proactive controls; ensure issue management best practices are adopted; coordinate event and governance escalation of potential gaps and issues.
- Co-ordinate CGMK meetings including management, team head, internal control and townhalls.
- Support the preparation of materials for CGMK related meetings and Citi Franchise wide governance meetings.
- Ensure CGMK adheres to local laws and requirements and to Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework by effectively addressing all risk stripes (Financial and non-Financial risk) across all lines of defense
- Champion of key initiatives that include policy review, Manager Control Assessment (MCA), Tier 3-5 Laws, Rules & Regulations, Annual Legal Entity assessments, support franchise or more senior level attestation, and etc under the guidance of Citi Korea Franchise Business Execution.
- Participate and/or coordinate assigned deliverables within the Transformation programs
- Support assigned key initiatives and ad hoc projects
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years relevant experience
- Required skills include project management, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to oversee cross disciplinary work streams.
- Extensive project management and strategic analysis experience.
- Interest and experience in the financial services industry, in particular in the areas of technology and data mining.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred
