IT Project Manager AVP- C12-Pune-Hybrid
The Markets Operations Technology group develop and implement a wide range of applications that support the Operations groups that are core to the success of the Markets business. They have significant impact across the lifecycle of a trade. We partner extensively with a range of internal stakeholders including product aligned Middle Office groups, Settlements, Margin, Asset Servicing, Listed Derivative & Commodities Operations. In this team, the Agile Scrum Master is an expert in agile techniques and is adept at change management through influence and facilitation of Agile into new environments. We are seeking a talented Scrum Master to provide effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and set a powerful example for the team.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, etc.).
- Guide teams in Agile adoption and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments to team progress and foster collaboration.
- Take Ownership and Work with Product Owners to ensure a clear backlog, prioritization, and value-driven delivery.
- Track and report Agile metrics to measure performance and drive improvements. Leverage data to measuring & monitoring progress against commitments.
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and Agile maturity across teams.
- Take action based on retrospectives and sprint team metrics to improve sprint team execution approaches and team velocity
- Champion and embody the Scrum way-of-life across the development teams. Encourage and support iterative and collaborative development
- Creatively apply Scrum management/ Sprint Planning processes to address unique situations.
- Cultivate and foster an environment of trust, good faith, team growth, creativity and empower the team to self-organize. Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution.
- Ensure the scrum team is adhering to the core agile principles of collaboration, task prioritization, team accountability and visibility
- Ensure adherence to the Citi Agile SDLC processes and procedures
- Act as advisor or ad-hoc coach to those new to Agile methodology and guide them in the adoption of Agile software development practices (writing user stories, release schedules and integration planning, scrum meetings, velocity and capacity planning).
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning and development of long-term roadmaps
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and executive summaries for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Should have total 5-8 Years of experience and 3-5 years of scrum master experience with in-depth knowledge of Scrum and implementation of Agile Methodologies to multiple teams in large-scale enterprise change projects & programs
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Hands-on with Agile / Scrum practices in complex enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in tools Confluence, Jira, Collaboration tools, reporting
- Strong knowledge of Scrum Management, Sprint and Release planning
- Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc)
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
- Certifications preferred: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or PMP.
