Governance & Change Management Partner
Institutional Credit Management (ICM) was established within Citigroup with the objective to provide integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.
The Senior Vice President, Governance & Change Management Partner will lead the design, management, and execution of the change management strategy across a portfolio of key frameworks across Institutional Credit Management (ICM). This role will ensure changes are successfully delivered, adopted, and sustained by impacted teams. Partnering closely with product, communications, and business leaders, the roleholder will drive end-to-end change activities while maintaining robust governance & discipline. In addition, the roleholder will be responsible forthe centralized management, governance, and oversight of the ICM Credit Products Strategy & Operations (CPSO) Book of Work (BoW) - ensuring effective intake, prioritization, execution, and communication of all initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve frameworks for the execution of change management across the ICM function and beyond.
Lead change management planning and execution for initiatives, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, readiness planning, and adoption measurement.
Partner with product management teams to translate business and operational changes into detailed requirements that enable successful solution delivery.
Work closely with training and communications teams to ensure clear, timely, and targeted messaging and enablement for impacted audiences.
Build and maintain strong change networks to support adoption and sustainability of changes across the organization
Manage the central CPSO BoW, ensuring alignment of change initiatives with strategic objectives and resource capacity.
Oversee the intake, prioritization, and assignment of new projects, ensuring appropriate governance and transparency.
Prepare executive-level updates and reports that communicate progress, risks, and opportunities clearly and effectively.
Organize and facilitate key governance meetings, providing clear reporting on change progress, risks, and decisions required.
Identify, track, and mitigate risks to successful change adoption, escalating critical issues where necessary.
Promote a culture of change agility, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement in change practices.
Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in change management, program delivery, governance, or related roles, ideally within financial services.
Deep expertise in the concept of change management for key business framework and artefacts.
Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, communications planning, and organizational readiness management.
Familiarity with governance frameworks and project portfolio management.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex change initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
Proven success partnering with product management, communications, and training teams to drive full change adoption.
Proficient knowledge of Wholesale Credit Risk would be advantageous.
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills.
Advanced knowledge of applications such as SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA.
Relevant certifications in Change Management (e.g., CCMP, PROSCI) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile) preferred.
