Citi Mortgage provides Real Estate lending products to consumers in United States.  Through Consumer Mortgage, Citigold, and Private Client, we offer an array of products and services across the full spectrum of consumer mortgage needs nationwide.

Position Summary

Reporting to Director of FP&A, the Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a senior professional role responsible for providing financial analysis and support to Citi Mortgage organization.  The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice on the evaluation of financial reports of Citi’s current and projected performance. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering and acting as trusted advisor to Mortgage division senior leadership for all financial business decisions.
  • Develop and execute regular cadence for monthly, quarterly, and annual review of financial results.
  • Execute analysis of annual Operating Plans, CCAR forecasts, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly outlooks in partnership with segment, business, and country FP&A teams.
  • Become a SME on Mortgage division and serve as a primary point of contact on topic for finance division.
  • Take ownership of Models and EUCs and support development, utilization, and monitoring of governance and controls.
  • Build forecast models using Excel, Hyperion, and other tools and software.
  • Drive risk & control agenda including data accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and metrics; identify, assess, and escalate risks.
  • Engage with Finance partners both on and off-shore in support of Finance objectives.
  • Prepare analytics in support of CEO Reviews, including business initiatives.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.


Qualifications:

  • BS in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA and/or CFA is a plus
  • Strong experience in finance & analytical roles, including in the consumer banking industry.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, combined with an ability to deliver analysis in a concise manner.
  • Ability to take ownership of work, navigate ambiguity, & develop solutions to challenges with minimal guidance.
  • Results/task orientated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability and desire to go “above and beyond” and execute under tight deadlines.
  • Track record of improving processes and controls.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrated career progression/increase in responsibilities.
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications, Hyperion, and SmartView, Tableau or OneStream
  • Demonstrated presentation skills with ability to develop presentations from scratch.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at building strong relationships and influencing across many levels & areas of the organization.
  • Capable of handling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$107,120.00 - $160,680.00
