The Talent and Diversity Senior Group Manager (DEI & Talent Management Advisor) is a strategic leader with expertise in DEI and talent management, industry trends, and competitor initiatives. They align the function’s strategy with business goals, ensuring effective execution and contributing to future planning.  With strong communication skills, they collaborate internally at senior levels and may engage externally as needed.  This role oversees budgeting, policy development, and cross-functional initiatives, directly impacting business outcomes. Reporting to a Managing Director (C16), they are a key member of the functional leadership team.


Responsibilities:

  • Advise and consult to the development and implementation of DEI and Talent Management strategies
  • Identify talent needs in line with business priorities and leverage firmwide solutions or partner with HR and the business to customize appropriate solutions
  • Align DEI & Talent strategies, globally, to drive representation, internal mobility, development and retention of talent
  • Partner with central DEI & Talent teams to develop interventions and lead implementation of DEI & talent processes
    • Drive in-business implementation of Talent Reviews and Succession Planning process: creation of Talent Books, remediate succession gaps and monitor effectiveness
    • Identify and cultivate a diverse talent pipeline and develop action plans with manager engagement
    • Support Individual Development Plan process, partner with HR and the business to drive progress, track and monitor progress
    • Lead Senior Promotions Process and cultivate MD and Director pipelines
    • Facilitate interventions to drive internal mobility of top talent within the business
    • Guide participant nomination and selection for Talent and Diversity programs with a focus on development
    • Assess Executive Coaching requests, monitor and follow up on coaching effectiveness
  • Drive progress towards Aspirational Representation & Talent Mobility goals and communicate Diversity & Talent trends with business leaders
  • Participate in business operating committees and councils as needed, providing thought-leadership and expertise to drive a fully inclusive environment
  • Embed data and insights into talent, promotion and other selection decisions (i.e. assessments, talent designations, mobility, promotion, development, programs) to translate data into solutions and monitor KPIs
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on internal mobility discussions
  • Track local regulation for Talent & Diversity, in partnership with local HRAs
  • Partner with HR COEs/Disciplines to create a holistic People Plan for the business areas, creating synergies across HR COEs

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in related Human Resources and/or Talent Management/Diversity work
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to operate with minimal guidance
  • Ability to influence without management responsibilities
  • Effective at partnering across HR disciplines and with business leadership
  • Able to influence at a senior level with stakeholders at the Executive Management Team level
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Adept at leveraging technology tools (i.e., Tableau dashboard) to understand insights and trends

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred and managerial experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
