Research Product Analyst, CRM, AVP, New York, NY
The Research Product Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the vetting of business requirements and technology documentation
- Establish processes that identify critical dependencies, risks and conflicts among programs/projects and with other programs/projects
- Oversee Project plans ensuring Operations personnel are aware of project status, issues and escalations
- Provide governance and periodic evaluations of how projects and initiatives are tracking
- Devise creative solutions when faced with budget and/or time constraints; working tactically to break through bottlenecks and keep projects on track
- Manage own projects as assigned, with responsibility for meeting deadlines
- Projects may require data analysis and multi-team coordination
- Assists team members with ongoing processes and special projects as assigned
- Create and update various metrics for reporting
- Manage program documentation and meetings, project history and organizational knowledge, ensuring Operations team members have current and easily accessible information
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years previous experience
- Intermediate project management and execution skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to execute in a large, matrixed organization
- Self-starter with ability to solve problems independently
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

- Must exhibit a good understanding of systems: its procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of related technical areas to maintain, identify and define enhancements to existing applications and their operating environments.
- Manage projects and enhancements involving many integrated systems including CRM, a client relationship management platform with Outlook plugins; Entitlements Hub, a bespoke client entitlement platform; Subscription Center, a publication subscription tool; CIEvents, an event management platform; and Research Dashboards, various reporting interfaces that track client engagement.
- Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information. Has direct impact on the team and closely related teams by ensuring the quality of the tasks/services/information provided by self and others.
- Manage stakeholder expectations as a main point of contact for the duration of all projects. Provide detailed communication documentation on each assigned project to track work requested, work approved, and timeline expectations. Present updates to senior management on a monthly basis on all assigned projects.
- Responsible for initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production, making recommendations of solutions and improvements. Responsibilities may also include quality assurance testing.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$98,960.00 - $148,440.00
