Liquidity Risk Management Sr. Lead Analyst- C14 - LONG ISLAND CITY
This individual will support the delivery of cross platform automation solutions within the Global Liquidity Reporting System (GLRS) and RegInsight, with a specific focus on cross-product related reporting solutions. This role requires a disciplined, process oriented approach to delivery and project management and the ability to function in a dynamic and fluid environment, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
- Employ best practices in developing business requirements documentation that complies with Citi standards by interviewing subject matter experts in various domains (Technology, Treasury Business, Financial Reporting and Controllers), defining use cases, and translating requirements to the underlying data model.
- Partner with Country Treasurers and end users in Finance and Risk Operations to understand pain points in existing reporting operations and develop solutions that deliver measurable benefits; foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Partner with colleagues in Treasury, Finance, Data Services and Operations and Technology on responses to regulatory requests, ensuring consistent communication across the firm
- Support the development of scalable solutions in anticipation of future regulatory reporting requirements
- Support the overall liquidity reporting change management process from data sourcing to report output
- Reporting capabilities and existing capabilities undergoing enhancement Supporting traceability from requirements through to quality assurance, which may include the definition of test plans, documentation of test scripts, set up of standard tools such as HP Quality Center
- Developing handover materials such as manuals, procedures, and related user documentation in support of a, “train the trainer model” when new functionality is being handed over to the FRO for production use
- Assisting Treasury Liquidity Transformation leadership in optimizing the scope, benefits, and risks of proposed projects; help manage expectations of users and management.
- Analyzing the impact of change requests
- Support of the production rollout process, including production checkouts and post production support
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree; Graduate level degree a plus
- 10+ years of experience in Financial Services required
- Prior experience working on regulatory reporting initiatives and interfacing with internal audit and risk control groups is preferred
- Superlative written and verbal communication skills with the ability to comfortably engage with senior management
- Ability to lead and drive productivity from a diverse community of stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify key issues, gather data to investigate those issues and develop actionable recommendations;
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel including graphing, pivot tables, reference functions, and data analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Project, including creation of milestones, dependencies and tracking a project plan baseline
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including past experience creating senior management level presentations
- Working knowledge of SharePoint • Knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus
- Knowledge of the Treasury function and in-depth knowledge of balance sheet products is strongly preferred
- Experience with banking and markets products and their effect on balance sheet and liquidity Self-starter, strong attention to detail and willingness to, “roll up sleeves” to master the liquidity subject matter at a detailed business level to enhance value add during business requirements discussions
- Ability to manage team
- Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify key issues, gather data to investigate those issues and develop actionable recommendations Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including the development and documentation of critical project deliverables required to support closure of each phase.
- Experience with process mapping, including understanding the “As Is Process” and designing/outlining the End State process
- Ability to understanding technical and functional specifications documents written by technology teams
- Understanding of multi-tiered systems concepts including databases, user interfaces and data processing Diagnostic skills to support production daily processes and responding to issues reported by the business in a fast-paced environment that requires immediate decision making and actions to resolve issues

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
