Head of Global Leadership Development
The Head of Global Leadership Development is a member of the Learning Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for the design, development and implementation of leadership, management, professional and executive development programs for leaders at Citi. In addition, the role oversees a central design team and a group of subject matter experts in several content areas including human centered leadership, culture, career development, mentoring, executive onboarding and engagement.As part of a global team, the Head of LD will work closely with Talent Management and Engagement (TME), Learning, HR and business partners to embed leadership skills and critical professional capabilities into Citi’s culture and practices using social, mobile and traditional learning methods. This role will report to the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) within Citi’s Human Resources organization.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead the strategy, design, development, and implementation of leadership and management development offerings for approximately 30,000 people managers at Citi
·Set a dynamic strategy for developing leaders through a rapidly changing digital world
·Build the strategy and oversee the implementation for common professional development offerings globally across Citi’s 200,000 employees
·Own the design, planning, and implementation of the learning strategy for Citi’s executive leaders and ensure it reflects the vision, business strategy, and priorities of the Executive Management Team
·Continue to evolve Citi’s leadership development core curriculum and deployment through strong partnerships with product and function partners
·Partner with Culture & Behavioral Insights team to build skills/habits identified as culture enhancing.Provide updates to Executive Sponsors, Board members and regulators on progress with Citi’s Way.
·Drive portfolio awareness and program enrollments through targeted marketing, test and learn approaches to how we communicate and strong stakeholder engagement practices.
·Run a global center of excellence for management and professional development delivery through a centralized faculty model.
·Drive alignment across talent development offerings by maintaining a strong partnership with TME Advisors to develop core curricular components that can be leveraged on a global basis
·Build and curate an inventory of learning solutions, maintain communities of practice, and disseminate thought leadership across learning teams to drive enterprise adoption
·Design and develop learning solutions that employ virtual, social, and classroom modalities
·Utilize advanced technologies and methods for solution design, development, delivery, and analysis
·Employ human capital data analytics to arrive at actionable insights and make evidence-based decisions
·Work closely with a broad range of stakeholders to implement the portfolio of responsibilities above, including senior HR and business leaders
·Elevate Citi’s brand and reputation as a developer of talent in the financial services industry
·Keep abreast of external best practices and benchmarking in the field of executive and leadership development, talent management, and organization development, and leverage the knowledge to both create new offerings and enhance current ones
Knowledge/Experience/Competencies:
·15+ years’ experience in learning and leadership development; business and/or organizational development background a plus
·Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key business and HR leaders across a highly complex/matrixed organization and influence to drive change
·Breadth of experience in needs assessment, adult learning theories, instructional design, and evaluation tools and techniques
·Background in leadership development theories and frameworks, with proven experience in practical application
·Excellent people management skills, including virtual team management
·Platform skills, strong learning or performance consulting background
·Strong group process and facilitation skills; ability to synthesize feedback/input from a variety of sources
·Proven experience in organizational change management
·Proven ability to coach, develop and lead others
·Strong record of operational excellence and ability to move work forward in a matrix environment
·Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving and changing priorities; resilient and flexible
·Strategic, out-of-the-box thinking with practical/real world orientation
·Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
·Exceptional verbal, written communication and presentation skills to effectively address all levels within the organization
Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field required. MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred

$250,000.00 - $500,000.00
