FP&A Model Development S.V.P. - C14 - NEW YORK
The Fin Solutions Sr. Lead Analyst will work with modelers to establish a framework for data requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and develop automated solutions to streamline model development, onboarding, and control processes. This includes leveraging generative AI technologies. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills are required to meet Consent Order milestones and deliverables. A strong understanding of financial products, statistical models, data analysis, data engineering principles, management best practices, and the potential of AI in automation is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the design, rollout, and governance of financial solutions, including:
- Participates in formulating and setting the strategic direction for processes, organization, and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations.
- Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for model development/execution and data pipelines.
- Writes business requirements, controls, test plans, and supports the testing of data and changes.
- Engages with various stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Operations, and Transformation to drive the execution of CO projects and ensure all required governance and oversight requirements are met.
- Designs, builds, and maintains robust data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity for model development.
- Develops automated solutions to streamline model development, validation, and control processes, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort. Explores and implements solutions using generative AI technologies such as Gen. AI.
- Manages complex, critical, and large professional disciplinary areas. Applies in-depth knowledge of the business impact of process design and technical contributions.
- Onboards and maintains financial models for CCAR/QMMF, incorporating relevant financial and market data and economic assumptions.
- Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on data engineering, model development, and AI automation techniques.
- Ensures that each program and project consistently complies with Citi project management standards, controls, internal and external audit requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proven experience building frameworks for data sourcing, analysis, and maintaining financial models, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Ability to drive discussions, implement solutions, and provide insights with limited support.
- Strong understanding of financial products, markets, and regulations.
- Experience with data engineering tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, Big Data, SAS, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence others.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
- Interest in and aptitude for learning and applying AI and machine learning techniques.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Potential areas of concentration: Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
