C14 – Business Manager – New York

The Business Manager will report directly to the Business Execution Lead for the Wealth Deposits business. Deposits is a key part of the Wealth business, helping clients meet their banking and treasury management services needs across our global network. This role will be a critical leader within the Deposits Business Execution team and requires a strategic professional who can drive cross-functional projects. This role requires excellent communication skills to guide, influence, and drive outcomes as well as experience managing strategic projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic projects globally from conception to completion based on the Deposit business’s key priorities. Partner directly with various groups within and outside of the Deposits team to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives.
  • Drive large-scale, strategic projects for the Deposits business and broader Wealth organization.
  • Design a strategy and drive execution of Deposit product simplification in partnership with the product heads.
  • Structure a detailed plan to manage execution of revenue and expense goals.
  • Focus on technology strategy and end-to-end processes improvements for Deposit products.
  • Project manage execution of key regulatory and change management projects for the Deposit products.
  • Support the development of materials for Quarterly Business Reviews and strategy/financial updates.
  • Analyze and interpret market, competitor, operational and financial data to identify trends and derive insights, model what-if scenarios, and develop recommendations to inform decision-making.
  • Manage ad-hoc requests from the central teams, functional partners, and the Head of Wealth Deposits and Balance Sheet.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in financial services
  • Extremely organized, motivated and a self-starter
  • Strategically minded with track record of execution excellence
  • Strong project management discipline and execution skills
  • Hands-on orientation with the demonstrated ability to set up internal processes to communicate and resolve issues
  • A critical and analytical thinker
  • Able to engage with senior leaders clearly and concisely
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage many tasks at once
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
  • Passion for people and culture-related work
  • Excellent communication skills required in order to communicate complex messages succinctly and influence a range of audiences
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
