Data Quality Analytics and Reporting Group Manager - SVP(NY, TX)
The Controller System and Data Operations (CSDO) function within Finance Controllers Team is responsible for partnering with the Global Process Owners in Finance to transform the end-to-end Global Operating Model for all Financial Books and Records processes, platforms and results. This is a leadership role within the CSCO Controllers Adjustment Reduction, EUC and Data Initiatives organization responsible for managing a global team that drives data ownership, system ownership, data quality rules and data lineage maintenance, and adherence to data policies and standards for Controllers-owned data.
The Data Quality Analytics & Reporting Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical working groups and solutions in coordination with the Data Quality Analytics & Reporting team. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve strategic enterprise objectives. Applies in-depth understanding of enterprise impact of contributions. Strong technical awareness is a necessity. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Leads and directs a team of professionals and is accountable for the end results of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Manages multiple teams or a functional area, while maintaining appropriate staffing requirements to meet operational needs
- Drives compliance with Citi Data Governance Policy across Controllers
- Drive remediation of Data Concern basis the prioirty set by report owners
- Applies comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area
- Ensures creation and sign-off of program plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, central program issue log; also ensures all program documentation are accurate and understood
- Escalates program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when appropriate
- Monitors vendor performance and ensures actions are taken if performance warrants
- Exercises responsibility for budget, policy formulation and planning
- Ensures that the system impact for any related solutions is considered in the change management process prior to implementation
- Proactively communicate meaningful updates & insights with a variety of stakeholders, including executive stakeholders & oversight partners, clearly & precisely to help management understand progress and risks
- Applies knowledge and understanding of the businesses to solve a great variety of problems - by working directly with the senior business leaders
- Is consulted often by others for advice and opinions. Partners should rely on his/her abilities to deliver the desired solution without feeling it necessary to monitor the progress at the micro level
- Develop strategies to reduce costs, manage risk and enhance services
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred
- Experience defining and implementing Data Quality programs
- Experience / Certifications in Agile Methodology preferred
- Experience monitoring and managing Data Quality on an ongoing basis, including identifying and resolving issues; executing against Data Quality strategies and policies
- Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
- Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives
- Ability to gain confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity
- Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels
- Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between understanding the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail
- Organizational savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them
- Experience creating and being a champion for a positive risk culture that supports sustainable business growth through transparent engagement, a partnership approach, and a no-tolerance approach for behavior that exposes the organization to an inappropriate amount of risk
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
