Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst -Front End (Angular) Developer- C13 - NEW YORK
This role requires working with Mortgage Trading Front Office businesses, Operations, Product Control, Business Analysts and other Technology partners to build high performance and highly complex Mortgage trading and pricing applications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and implement technology solutions for Mortgage Trading desks in Spread Products business for Pricing, Structuring, Risk and Reporting
- Develop high quality and high-performance Front-end software components following standard Development Process to achieve high level of maintainability, scalability, flexibility and quick to market
- Work closely with L1 and L2 Production Support to provide L3 Support for production issue investigation
- Interact with Trading Desk and Business Analysts to understand the business requirements to ensure the system is addressing the business need
- Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
- Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Required Skills /Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Frontend software development
- Strong Knowledge and experience in building UI components using HTML5, TypeScript/Java Script, Angular and Node.js
- Strong knowledge and experience in Object-Oriented Programming, WebSocket and Restful API
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOp and CI/CD pipeline with experience in JIRA, Bitbucket or GitHub, Sonar Cube, Jenkins/TeamCity/Harness
- Experience in AgGrid is preferred
- Experience or knowledge of Cloud Computing technology such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, ECS
- Experience or Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, Python or Python UI library such as Streamlit, is a plus
- Knowledge of UI Testing Tools such as Cypress, Jasmine or Jest
- Knowledge of streaming systems (Kafka is preferred)
- Ability to multi-task, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and be a team player with a sense of urgency
- A quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skill
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Financial Industry experience or Financial Product knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred

$142,320.00 - $213,480.00
