The Technology & Business Enablement Chief Operating Office (T&BE COO) drives a strong focus on risk and controls, compliance and value across Technology & Business Enablement organization and oversees Controls, Analytics and Decision Management, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Management, Data and Transformation for Technology, as well as Business Execution for our Technology and Foundational Services functions.

The T&BE Quality Assurance (T&BE QA) function sits within T&BE COO organization and is responsible to provide independent and objective assessment on the effectiveness, quality and timeliness of the remediation of high severity issues and Transformation regulatory commitments across T&BE globally.

This role is reporting to the T&BE QA Reporting and Analytics Lead based in Singapore and is responsible for reviewing and evaluating internal QA activities, and perform monitoring on QA activities to ensure consistency and quality in delivery of Quality Assurance outcomes across T&BE QA. This role is heavily involved in interactions with QA activities delivery teams to ensure that QA procedures are applied consistently and with quality, and is key to ensure that T&BE QA function is achieving and maintaining high standards of QA activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role requires both quality assurance acumen and technology skillsets to implement monitoring processes.
  • Design, implement and execute a variety of monitoring processes (ad-hoc, continuous and post-action) and reviews, and introduce metrics on T&BE QA activities to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Design procedure, implement solution and execute recurring alerts on measuring the progress of QA activities.
  • Identify and report on gaps and initiate process improvement activities.
  • Support T&BE QA management to substantiate, follow up and escalate concerns on QA activities timely and consistently.
  • Share best practices and common pitfalls with relevant teams and initiate communication to QA teams as required.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated in driving quality & timely QA activities end-to-end, and monitoring corrective action as necessary.
  • Design, implement and execute recurring reporting on progress of QA activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Other reporting responsibilities will be assigned based on ongoing priorities.
  • This is a global role and involves interaction with stakeholders across APAC/EMEA and NAM. Work timings accordingly will remain flexible with hours in NAM timezone required.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in risk and control, supervision, quality assurance / control and monitoring processes. Working knowledge of quality assurance and quality management processes in similar functions is required.
  • Proficiency in risk-based audit approaches and core audit concepts is necessary.
  • Excellent command of the English language, able to produce written communications and verbal presentations suitable for a worldwide audience with clarity and brevity, to either inform or persuade.
  • Excellent visual presentation skills to produce materials and decks that are easy to digest and understand. Proven experience to produce materials for senior management.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to achieve the right outcome; foster a collaborative environment; effective negotiation skills and demonstrated effective relationship management skills.
  • A proven track record in developing procedures and metrics is necessary.
  • Technical skills to implement and automate processes is necessary. Proven experience in automating processes is required. Core tech stack used by the team at this time: HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Node, Python, OLE automation, Excel based templates, and Xceptor.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
