We establish and maintain the enterprise risk management framework that ensures the ability to consistently identify, measure, monitor, control and report material aggregate risks.
We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, Risk Reporting Group Manager – Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Risk Reporting Group Manager - C14 ) based in Mumbai, India. In this role, you’re expected to:
The Risk Reporting Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
- Contributes to the analysis of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc. that detail risks inherent in Wholesale Credit Risk Portfolios. Reporting can cover a variety of areas including but not limited to: portfolio concentrations, limit exceptions, stress testing, loss reserves or high-risk exposures.
- Establishing standard risk indicators to facilitate Senior Risk Managers coverage of relevant credit risk reviews.
- Drive key initiatives and projects in close collaboration with Risk Mangers, Finance, & Technology
- Create an Oversight Framework in South Korea, China, Taiwan and Japan for WCR Reporting performed outside of DART.
- Engage with Country Risk heads to ensure the risk reporting teams in the country are aligned with policies, procedures and best practices adopted by DART for Risk Reporting
- Review the Management & Regulatory reports produced by the team to ensure key controls and process documentation requirements are completed and compliant for Manager Control Assessment (MCA), BCBS, End User Computation (EUC) and other governance purposes.
- Develop & track the plan on Risk Reduction of existing and new EUCs & Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES).
- Participate as required in the remediation & validation of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), including the development of ad hoc analysis to verify sustainable resolution of Issues.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- 12+ years of relevant experience in risk management, credit policy/Controls or Risk Information Analytics in Banking / financial services
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI or other BI visualization tools will be preferred
- Effective cross-functional project, resource, and stakeholder management; effectively engage with internal audit and external regulators
- Excellent quantitative and analytic skills; ability to derive patterns, trends and insights, and perform risk/reward trade-off analysis
- Detailed-oriented, high level of intellectual curiosity and strong sense of ownership
- Demonstrated project management skills, and ability to multi-task effectively and work against tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and exert influence without direct authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and to external audiences. Ability to deliver compelling presentations and influence executive audiences.

- Ability to drive innovation via thought leadership while maintaining end-to-end view
