In this role, you’re expected to:

The Operation Payment Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting International Real Estate Services (RES) business execution team in payment processing and coding of various nature of invoices. This role is dedicated to coordinate, manage and deliver best in class service to achieve financial, R&C and Franchise goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Processing of various nature of invoices for smooth payment to vendors/contractors.
  • Coding vendor details like supplier details payment sites, amount, taxes etc. in P2P system for raising Purchase requisition.
  • Processing and verifying payment transactions for accuracy and completeness. 
  • Processing urgent invoice payment through Payment request form.
  • Managing payment workflows, ensuring timely and secure execution of transactions. 
  • Resolving payment-related issues and disputes effectively. 
  • Handling P2P set-up and maintenance requests for new supplier in supplier maintenance portal.
  • Maintaining detailed records of transactions and reconciling discrepancies. 
  • Maintaining supplier invoice/payment tracker day to day.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. 
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of payment processing policies and procedures.
  • Compliance to Citi group policies at the time of payment processing.
  • Compliance to regulatory requirements at the time of payment processing.
  • Any other ad hoc request as per the requirement from management.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in financial services, in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
  • This position requires excellent analytical and business strategy skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project and process management skills
  • Self-starter who also has a demonstrated ability to work successfully in team environment and drive
  • Knowledge of payment systems, regulations, and security protocols.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Outstanding relationship building and relationship management skills
  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree is a plus
