The HR Benefits Ops  Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities and Desired Experience:-

Statutory Benefits :-

  • Responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations on Retirement benefits like as Defined Benefits and contribution schemes -Provident Fund, Gratuity Fund and Pensions fund.

  • Hands-on experience in managing the processes for gratuities, superannuation  benefits, and pension schemes administered by LIC including contribution, headcount submission, funding basis the actuarial reports, policy maintenance  & merger and annuity settlement.

  • End to End management of In-house provident fund which includes contribution, fund investments, PF settlement (Withdrawal, Transfer & Loans ), Interest calculation, Cash flow, books of accounts and Trustee meetings.

  • Practical experience in managing the statutory and regulatory compliance associated with PF, SAF, gratuity, and SAF trust administration, including tax remittances, return filings, closure of accounts books, and annual statutory trust audits.

  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate controls are in place and all processes are always maintained in an audit ready state to meet compliance and corporate governance standards.

  • Regular and timely communication with the payroll team, Benefit Partners, and retirement and benefit vendor partners across the cluster is essential to ensure effective governance and controls in existing processes, as well as to collaborate with LIC and EPFO for the regular resolution of key disputes.

Corporate Benefits :-

  • Responsible for directing and planning the daily operations related to corporate benefits and allowances (Mediclaim, life insurance, leave travel, company car, childcare, meal, and other flexible benefits)

  • Performing End to End responsibility of Checker and controller in terms of Corporate  Benefit disbursement. 

  • Actively participates in discussions to simplify, streamline, re-engineer, automate and/or outsource processes to increase efficiency, reduce complexity and eliminate unnecessary cost. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within HR Ben OPS to support achievement of productivity goals.

  • Vendor Management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge with  of  Key Benefits and allowance program and operation including statutory rules and regulations.

  • Must have at least 8 to 10 yrs. experience in managing Key Benefits and allowance program and operation including statutory rules and regulations.

  • Must have experience in managing headcount more than 12 K employees.

  • Must have equivalent experience and knowledge of Retirement benefits and taxes

  • Should have sound knowledge of payroll systems and logics -Workday/ERP

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University.
