We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, ERM Business Risk Senior Analyst - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Business Risk Senior Analyst - C12) based in Mumbai, India. In this role, you’re expected to:
Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function is responsible to align and oversee risk management across the organization and own execution of enterprise program. ERM operating model ensures consistent identification, measurement, monitoring, control and reporting of risk across individual risk categories and in aggregate. Risk Transformation & Execution vertical through its strategic Initiatives team within Enterprise Risk Management function is responsible for design and execution of the ERM operating model and engagement across Business, Risk, Technology and cross-cutting functions to drive effective execution of enterprise programs as aligned to Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. The team also helps to coordinate the successful execution of Risk Management’s commitments across Articles VI, XI, and V and FRB Para 3 within Citi's Transformation programme.
This individual will actively support and contribute towards stakeholders’ engagement across lines of defense and towards closure of OCC Article VI & FRB Para 3 regulatory commitments. They would also be part of the team responsible to monitor progress through target state execution of ERM operating model.
Responsibilities:
Assist in ongoing communication of ERM Operating Model with business, risk and other internal stakeholders
Engage ERM execution personnel to understand updates to individual enterprise program frameworks and incorporate appropriate revisions to ERM Operating Model
Monitor updates, progress and challenges associated with execution goals with respect to the ERM operating Model.
Assist the team in identification and resolution of OCC Article VI issues, working with the dedicated project / program management individuals and other stakeholders.
Assist the IA validation effort with relation to OCC Article VI & FRB Para 3 related commitments.
Aid closure of Regulatory Commitments by assisting the team lead in drafting Scoping Documents for OCC Article VI & FRB Para 3b level commitments.
Deliver specific ad-hoc analysis and tactical support in preparation for senior stakeholder and management meetings.
Contribute towards a larger goal of a fully integrated enterprise risk management framework.
Identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of formal projects.
Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships and network with key internal constituencies.
Liaison between MCA controls team and Transformation team to aid the bank wide MCA uplift program.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
An individual who is experienced in managing complex and large-scale changing initiatives,
Experience in working with senior level internal stakeholders.
Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Collaborative work style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies.
Displays a leadership presence; commands respect and will earn trust of senior leaders.
Good understanding of banking products and risk environment
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in financial services
Project planning and management experience
Prior consulting/banking experience
Understanding banking and risk management
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information and drive results with a sense of urgency
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, master’s degree in finance, Economics Preferred
