Banking - Banking Senior Analyst - C10, Officer - Mumbai

The Banking Analyst will work directly with professionals across Banking Capital Markets and Advisory and provide essential support to deal teams on client transactions such as capital raises and strategic advisory assignments.  The overall objective of this role is to provide leverage to the team by coordinating critical deal administrative, internal and marketing activities to better serve our clients. Banking Analysts will work in our Banking Analytics Group, in hub locations.

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with the team to ensure high-quality production of strategic materials and manage deliverables

• Valuation / Financial analysis: Build financial models to construct fundamental valuation perspectives, including comparable and precedent transaction analysis as well as discounted cash flow analysis
• Industry analysis: Conduct research and identify emerging trends as part of preparing industry and market overviews
• Business development: Co-ordinate key operational data and assist in the presentation of new ideas to clients
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• Relevant work experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines
• Unquestioned commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making, as well as the ability to recognize and respect confidentiality of sensitive information
• Competent in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration
