Regulatory Risk Senior Officer

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Regulatory Risk Senior Officer for its Miami, FL location.

Duties: Implement governance enhancements across Citi Latin America. Leverage knowledge of Latin America risk, control, and governance processes as well as an understanding of Latin America industry and regulatory standards and requirements to ensure implementation and oversight of governance, regulatory, and transformation projects. Collaborate with Citi stakeholders and Global Groups including Governance, Country Risk, and Regulatory teams to ensure full consideration of the business in the design and roll out of enhanced governance and risk and control frameworks. Work with regional Independent Risk, Compliance, Operations, Market, Liquidity, Credit, Reputation, and Strategic Risk to enhance local control standards and support local management in their governance. Leverage experience with local regulatory and corporate policy to develop strong controls and oversight. Coordinate and draft a Risk Management Framework to ensure appropriate controls and governance are in place based on legal entity regulatory requirements and corporate construct. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Business Management, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation handling risk management in the financial industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Working with classifiable and delinquency managed credit and operational policies and procedures including a command of the collateral management process; Performing regulatory risk analysis ensuring compliance with policy related to capital planning, liquidity, portfolio, and operations and regulatory examinations / expectations; Performing risk assessments and management within the framework of risk-weighted assets, portfolio management, liquidity management, and operational risk management in evaluating the impact of different economic and potential stress scenarios on liquidity and operational needs, leveraging advanced proficiency in credit, market, liquidity, and operational risk; Validating and documenting processes, risks and controls including methodologies in line with policies and guidelines applicable to identify and mitigate risks; Regulatory risk project management ownership including business requirements, analysis and testing for delivery of regulatory solutions including IFRS 9, stress testing, and regulatory requirements; and Utilizing Microsoft Office including Excel for metrics and data analysis, PowerPoint for presentation decks, and Word for writing and editing procedural and technical documentation. 40 hrs./wk.
