Team/Role Overview
The role is part of the Testing Deployment & Environment Management horizontal service of offerings for the Strategic Ledger Transformation program. This is a critical role in coordinating management of change across the various environments utilized by the program and ensuring optimal availability of the lanes.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Working with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to manage migration of change through various environments – lower lanes and production deployment.
- Coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to create deployment project plans and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for release activities such as Dress Rehearsal, Cutover etc.
- Planning environment management activities such as patching, environment refresh & maintenance working closely with internal technology teams and software vendor partners.
- Creating and maintaining the Environment Strategy diagram.
- Creating a communication plan to inform and update stakeholders on release and environment management activities and scheduled downtimes.
- Adhering to enterprise standards and policies on release and change management.
What we’ll need from you
- Extensive experience in a related technology role and subject matter expertise in overall field.
- Expertise in managing large-scale technology releases and complex environment landscape.
- Experience with managing releases for Cloud transformation programs on platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft or Amazon.
- Expertise in Software Lifecycle Management, Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated background in technology development and/or testing.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, TOSCA, Confluence, Zephyr and MS Project.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master’s degree.
