By joining Citi’s Prime Intelligence desk, your will be part of a growing business within the Equities platform and have accountability for driving growth across Prime, using the power of Fintech. You will play a key role in conceptualizing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge analytical tools and insights that support our Prime Finance business. You will be joining a global desk, only recently established, to help build the Prime Intelligence platform through collaboration with business, product development and quantitative finance to leverage business know how and analytical skills to conceptualize tools and dashboards.

What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:

  • Primarily you will design, develop, and implement “Proof of Concepts” encompassing a wide range of analytics from balance and portfolio analysis, revenues and P&L attrition, business and platform KPI tracking and client scorecards and benchmarking.

  • Provide market colour and portfolio returns analysis to leading hedge fund clients globally.

  • Partner with trading and sales teams to deliver data-driven insights that inform business decisions, shape strategy, and monitor progress.

  • Collaborate with Sales towards balance and revenue growth across cash and synthetic prime finance clients by generating high value client content (analytics / return reviews)

  • Face off to Treasury and Counterparty Relationship Management functions across some of the biggest Hedge Fund clients globally.

What we will need from you:

  • Key to this role is an individual who is highly proficient in programming with Python, SQL, and VBA – applicants that are not, will not be considered. You will likely be tested on these skills as part of the selection process.

  • As this role utilizes an overall understanding of markets and the key drivers of profitability, having prior experience working in a Prime Finance or a broader Equities/Fixed Income Financing business is highly desirable.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with both internal staff, external clients, and senior business leaders.

  • First rate analytical and quantitative skills and adept in working with large data sets, complex and multivariable problems, and fast paced environments.

  • Educated preferably to Masters degree, in a STEM subject.
