Cyber Security Project Manager

Managing the delivery projects with multiple, diverse stakeholders each with specific views on desired outcomes is a critical part of the process. Engineering excellence and a background in successfully managing modern software engineering projects are essential but inclusivity at Citi means your primary responsibility is to the team and your stakeholder: you will be expected to positively influence our culture and collaborate with the team on strategy and technical delivery.  The role is the key facilitator between stakeholders and the engineering teams, and as part of this you will facilitate stakeholder meetings and present status updates to the group, ensuring risks are captured and mitigated where dependencies are beyond the engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Program and project management tracking across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
• Drive proactive engagement with stakeholders to understand and integrate their timelines and dependencies into the overall road map.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure committed deliverables are completed on time to the correct specification.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, and proactively reduce the project’s exposure to them.

Qualifications:

• First and foremost, you are an excellent English-language communicator, collaborative by nature who builds strong working relationships across the organisations.
• Demonstrated track record in successfully managing complex technology engineering projects within wider programme with high levels of interdependent workstreams and conflicting stakeholders.
• A strong bias towards modern, agile project management with experience of common collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence and the Office 365 suite including PowerPoint.
• Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, able to present complex concepts clearly and concisely to enable sound decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to lead meetings and discussions from engineer to executive level stakeholders.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
