Commercial Bank - Global Strategy SVP

The Global CCB Strategy SVP will be part of the strategy team in CCB . The strategy team supports the CCB Executive Committee (CCB ExCo) in the development, articulation, and ongoing implementation of its strategy, conduct competitive analysis and review and help mitigate Strategic Risks the business may face.

The SVP is a strategy professional that effectively and independently develops in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new innovative solutions. Required to think beyond existing solutions, assumptions or current knowledge of sophisticated areas. This role has a significant impact on the business through making decisions that determine technical approaches and strategies for the area.

The SVP is an outstanding team player able to collaborate with colleagues, across teams, and different areas of Citi.

Responsibilities:

• Run projects that include analysis and recommendations related to emerging industry trends, new growth and expansion opportunities, responding to competitor threats, and business performance improvement.
• Lead project teams and individually execute projects, thereby utilizing a broad set of skills including issue and data analysis, problem-solving, project management, and communication.
• Guide and execute analysis of our markets, competitors, and customers using internal and external resources.
• Drive corporate strategy initiatives around growth, investments, capital and expense optimization.
• Develop recommendations to advise senior management on high-priority initiatives, including growth strategy, product and segment strategies, and cross business initiatives.
• Coordinate communications with key internals and external stakeholders.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams
• Performs other duties and functions as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
• Prior experience as strategy professional would be advantageous.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
