We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Fund Accounting Analyst - Corporate Action - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Fund Accounting Analyst 1 - C09) based in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you’re expected to:

This role will involve the sourcing, validation and accounting of Corporate Action events with a particular focus on Fund-of-Fund Income and voluntary events on Fixed Income, Equities and CFDs
Reviews all Corporate Action/Proxy events received and ensures detailed understanding and processing requirements
Liaise with all units and departments relating and impacting clients on Corporate Action
Reviews and updates all processes and procedures timely and accurately
Identifies and reports any gaps/system enhancement
Participates in all testing and successful implementations
Escalates issues to management, participates in cross-training activities and all other job duties as assigned
Addresses internal and external queries on Corporate Actions in a timely and professional manner, engaging with other Citi teams as necessary to ensure we provide a comprehensive and accurateresponse
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

0-3 years relevant experience
Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments including Equity securities, Fixed Income and Asset Backed securities is preferred
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access- is desired)
Proven success as a team player
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
