We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as AVP, Transfer Agency Change Manager - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Cash and Trade Proc Sr Analyst - C12) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, you’re expected to:
Responsibilities:
- Assists in planning and designing business processes; assists in formulating ideas/ recommendations to improve and support our Transfer Agency business activities.
- Assists in analysing and documenting client's business requirements and processes; communicates these requirements to internal stakeholder, technology and core processing functions.
- Assists in creating basic test scenarios to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
- Assists in developing and modifying systems requirements documentation to meet client needs.
- Participates in meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
- Executes systems test from existing test plans either directly or with our offshoring UAT teams. Assists in analysing testing results in all phases.
- Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried through all phases of the project, through to operational readiness.
- Manage, control and report on interdependent transfer agency projects.
- Develop an understanding of Citi’s APAC Transfer Agency strategy and Operating Model, in order to ensure that changes are delivered in line with our operating processes and service offering.
- Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions with particular focus on reducing Manual Touch Points
- Manage internal and external approvals process following Citi’s corporate guidelines. Manage a review of legal documentation in order to align activities with contractual obligations.
- Liaise with offshore vendors through the recruitment, knowledge transfer and implementations stages.
- Communicate effectively within the Transfer Agency programme of activity in order to align activities and respond to conflicting timelines.
- Ensure a smooth/ seamless transition of business changes over a controlled framework.
- Coordinate, track and validate the effective transfer of knowledge as applicable.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and ensure timely escalation of issues.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
Qualifications/Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in a related role to cash and trade operations and management
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Effective communication and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of at least one market standard Transfer Agency platform
- Experience working with business processes and re-engineering
- Advantage: Formal BA/project management training/qualification
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven record of accomplishment in business analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills particularly in dealing with internal stakeholders and clients
- Energetic and ambitious person.
- Excellent organizational and management skills.
- Experience of remote teams.

- Ability to work as part of a team, managing conflict and openly addressing challenges.
- Work independently when required.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
