Citi’s Human Resources (HR) team helps Citi to attract, retain and develop our employees across the globe.  The team does this through supporting key areas including recruiting, diversity, global learning and talent development, benefits, compensation and employee relations.

We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Wealth Senior Trainer - Hybrid based in Hong Kong. 

In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Deliver training courses content and ensures participants leave with new skills to apply to their job (in some businesses this starts with onboarding or induction training);

  • Partner with global/regional colleagues and business stakeholders to align priorities and activities;

  • Stay connected with Citi Learning, Wealth Learning Advisors and LIS/LERM team to share insights and ensure program objectives are being met;

  • Provide performance support to newly trained associates;

  • Facilitate induction, client & sales engagement trainings, new products/systems, communication and leadership workshops;

  • Facilitate in-person training and virtual/instructor-led training courses;

  • Coordinate and collaborate with Citi Learning, LIS/LERM for the effective training program implementation;

  • Manage tight timelines and pace of the course/class;

  • Manage classroom environment as well as pre and post-class activities, reports on program progress to necessary stakeholders;

  • All other duties as assigned to support Citi Learning, Wealth's global initiatives and Book of Work;

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 6-10 years of relevant training/L&D experience;

  • Proficient in facilitating virtual trainings via digital platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Slido, etc.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

  • Can conduct training class in Cantonese and English languages.

  • Self-motivated and detail oriented

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
