Job Overview: As a Senior Lead Architect, you will be at the heart of our technology team, influencing and driving solutions, technical architecture, and strategic vision for our market business controls technology. This role requires staying updated with the latest trends, excellent communication and diplomacy skills, and the ability to guide, influence, and negotiate with colleagues across the business. The successful candidate will be accountable for the end results of their area and should have a degree of responsibility over our technical strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the architectural strategy for our Markets Business Controls Tech.
  • Recommend solutions in line with enterprise standards.
  • Develop technology and business application portfolio roadmaps based on emerging technologies and market trends.
  • Make informed decisions on technical directions based on expertise, experience, vision, and market directions.
  • Support the business/clients in evaluating and articulating the technical benefits of solutions.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and create Proof of Concept (POC) for strategic technologies.
  • Interface with vendors to assess their technology and guide product roadmaps based on our requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership in key business areas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in compliance with our policies and standards.
  • Execute continuous improvement efforts including both Business as Usual (BAU) and broader strategic transformation.
  • Manage and deliver on multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, and frameworks like Spring Boot.
  • Experience with REST APIs, Open API design and implementation, and knowledge of Tibco products (BW, EMS, etc.), Messaging protocols, RDBMS, NoSQL, and Streaming technologies such as Kafka, Solace.
  • Experience with cloud technology (preferably AWS and GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong experience in developing/architecting modern container (Kubernetes) applications, with a focus on scalability, security, and resilience.
  • Understanding of AI/ML/General AI technologies and ability to develop POC initiatives.
  • Demonstrated skills in management, prioritization, and developing working relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and quickly master new tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with attention to detail.

$156,160.00 - $234,240.00
