Description
This IT Project Quality Assurance (QA) Lead role is within the Wholesale Lending Technology (WLT) department which itself is part of the Information Services Group (ISG) Data Engineering organization. WLT is transforming Credit Risk and Lending technology from the ground up; establishing a strategic end to end integrated Wholesale Credit Risk and Lending ecosystem to simplify business process, strengthen controls, improve data quality, drive organizational productivity, and enhance the overall client experience.
The IT Project QA Lead position is part of the Business Strategy and Project Execution team which is responsible for the financials, budgeting, resourcing and portfolio hygiene of the WLT organization. We support executive leadership as they execute on business strategy by effectively collaborating with our business management office and with technical and product leadership to provide resourcing and financial budgeting, forecasting and metrics aligned to WLT Initiatives.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Project Management professional who will oversee all projects in the Project Tracking System (PTS) that underpins the WLT book of work. This role ensures PTS projects adhere to firmwide Project Execution rules and policies, while at the same time validates that technical updates from project managers are written clearly and concisely for onward consumption by stakeholders. Though this role has no formal direct reports, the IT Project QA Lead will coordinate the day-to-day workload of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead PTS QA efforts across the portfolio, ensuring compliance with firmwide Project Execution rules and policies
- Analyze portfolio health to identify, recommend and implement QA improvement opportunities
- Identify PTS project quality risks and issues, escalating where necessary and driving them to successful resolution
- Act as Project Execution and PTS Subject Matter Expert, routinely promoting and delivering knowledge sharing to WLT project and program managers
- Assist the SVP Business Strategy Lead by assigning and monitoring the WLT IT Project QA Team day-to-day workload
- Actively support the annual Technology budget planning process, ensuring the PTS structure correctly aligns to the agreed book of work
- Oversee and manage special projects and process improvements as assigned
Skills:
- 6+ years in a Technical PMO (preferred) or Technical Project Manager role
- Detail oriented with ability to analyze, interpret and use data for problem solving and decision making
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including with executives
- Leadership ability to motivate people and execute through influence
- Ability to align to broader technical strategy and connect the dots
- Self-motivated with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Effective meeting management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to include use of pivot tables, formula crafting, graphs and other data analysis techniques
- Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
