The Transaction Capture Sr Manager is a senior management level position responsible for managing multiple teams through other managers, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this role is to oversee the end results, budgeting, planning and implementation of the functional strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading and act as an advisor or coach to new or junior staff
  • Maintain position records in coordination with the traditional trading desk assistant and / or trade processing functions
  • Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, identifying operational risk, trade confirmation and settlement forecasts
  • Develop and implement business initiatives, client solutions, and/or projects affiliated with pre-settlement processes and transaction capture
  • Oversee the volume, quality, integrity, timeliness and delivery of complex deliverables and plan, budget and form policies for own area
  • Analyze issues with transaction capture and related functions where direction is needed, and actions must be recommended / taken
  • Develop and implement business plans, policies and procedures and support a range of internal and external clients
  • Oversee performance of pre-settlement capture activities and define, develop, implement and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, client service, control, and cost reduction and implement improvements
  • Conduct discovery and due diligence activities with clients to solve complex client queries
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in a related role; strong knowledge of wholesale loan (syndicated / bilateral) product and business, including an understanding of legal loan documentation, loan / funding mechanics, deal structure, funds flows, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of operational processes supporting Wholesale lending
  • Proven ability to collaborate with team members, Senior management and other business constituents in a steering capacity.
  • Critical decision-making capabilities including the ability to identify, escalate, and propose solutions to problems
  • Ability to multi-task through the practice of strong organizational and time management skills with experience in continuously following up
  • Comprehensive understanding and awareness of appropriate corporate and regulatory policies in relation to Lending
  • Subject Matter Expert in multiple or specific skill sets, business areas or products preferred
  • Substantial experience working with clients under time constraints to facilitate a transaction or process.
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills; written & verbal
  • Attention to detail and intermediate problem-solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$103,200.00 - $154,800.00
